PurpleDOT Enterprises Ltd Terms and Conditions
At PurpleDOT Enterprises Ltd, accessible via www.purpledotlogistics.com, we are committed to providing reliable logistics services. By registering for an account or using our services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. These terms may be updated from time to time, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any updates.
- Acceptance of Terms
By using the services provided by PurpleDOT Enterprises Ltd (“the Company”), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, including our Claims Policy.
- Nature of Services & Third-Party Involvement
PurpleDOT provides freight forwarding and logistics coordination services.
By using our services, you acknowledge and agree that:
- PurpleDOT utilizes third-party warehouses, carriers, airlines, and logistics providers in the handling and transportation of packages.
- These providers operate independently, and PurpleDOT does not have direct control over their operations.
- PurpleDOT shall not be held liable for any loss, delay, damage, or misplacement of packages caused by third-party providers.
- Shipping Orders and Services
- Shipments are processed twice weekly (Wednesday and Friday via air freight) and once weekly via sea freight.
- Packages received by 12:00 PM on shipment days will be processed accordingly.
- Delivery and availability timelines (3–7 business days) are estimates and not guaranteed.
Customers are responsible for:
- Providing accurate shipping details, including:
- Full U.S. shipping address
- Company name
- Unique mailbox number
- Ensuring packages are properly packaged and compliant with shipping regulations.
PurpleDOT is not responsible for delays caused by customs, weather, carrier issues, or other external factors.
- Insurance & Risk of Loss
- Shipments handled by PurpleDOT are generally uninsured unless explicitly requested and paid for by the customer.
- Customers shipping items without insurance do so entirely at their own risk.
- PurpleDOT strongly recommends insurance for items valued over USD $50.
PurpleDOT acts solely as a facilitator of insurance services and is not the insurer.
- Liability Limitation
- PurpleDOT’s liability for any loss or damage is limited to:
- USD $50 or the declared value of the item (whichever is lower)
- This limitation applies to all uninsured shipments.
PurpleDOT shall not be liable for:
- Losses exceeding USD $50 for uninsured shipments
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- High-value items shipped without insurance
- Jamaica Customs
Customs duties may apply to shipments valued at USD $100 or more.
Customers are responsible for complying with all customs regulations.

PurpleDOT is not responsible for customs delays, fees, or confiscations.
- Shipping Rates and Fees
- Shipping rates are based on weight, size, destination, and service type and are subject to change.
- Additional fees include:
- Air Freight (12 lbs and over): $350 JMD processing fee
- Sea Freight (15 lbs and over): $500 JMD processing fee
All charges must be paid prior to collection or delivery.
- 8. Delivery, Pickup & Storage
- Packages should be collected or scheduled for delivery within 14 days of availability.
- Storage fees apply after 14 days: $50 JMD per day
- Packages unclaimed after 30 days may be sold or auctioned to recover costs.
PurpleDOT reserves the right to refuse release of packages until all outstanding charges are settled.
- Unknown or Improperly Addressed Packages
Packages missing required identification (e.g., mailbox number) will incur a $400 JMD processing fee.
- Claims
All claims must be submitted in accordance with PurpleDOT’s Claims Policy, which forms part of these Terms and Conditions.
- Claims must be submitted within 3 days
- Supporting documentation is required
- All claim decisions are final and binding
- Payments
- Payment is required prior to release or delivery of packages
- Accepted payment methods include online payment and in-person payment
For assisted purchases:
- Full prepayment is required
- Remaining shipping and storage fees must be settled before collection
- Right to Refuse Service
PurpleDOT reserves the right to refuse service, cancel shipments, or suspend accounts where:
- False or misleading information is provided
- These Terms and Conditions are violated
- Fraudulent or suspicious activity is identified
- The customer attempts to ship, or is found to be shipping, illegal, prohibited, restricted, or undeclared items, including items in violation of applicable laws, customs regulations, or carrier policies
PurpleDOT further reserves the right to inspect, hold, refuse, dispose of, or report such shipments to the relevant authorities without liability, compensation, or notice to the customer.
- Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Jamaica. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Jamaica.
